Since you can't look under your toys or kitchen items and see "made in Israel", the most visible Israeli exports are their installments in museums and cultural institutions. There was a protest outside a theatre in Chicago over an Israeli ballet company. How could that possibly do any good? The only result I could see is that Israeli citizens who would normally be opposed to war (artists, academics and the like) are now pissed off because their non-violent activities got ruined. Maybe it’s just easier to boycott academics and so on.
